Husband's upcoming hernia surgery

My husband, Douglas, is scheduled for hernia surgery on Friday, the 5th of Sept. This isnot a laproscopic procedure. He is scheduled to remain in hosp. for 2 days on IV. Her granddaughter (Abigail) was born with hip displacia (sp?)…and because the doctor didn’t check her at birth, she is scheduled to have a surgical procedure on September 9th. Lord I am saying thanks for keeping us safe when we have had troubles. It happened a long time ago and we were not insured and it was because of a mistake. Parents marriage

Hello. It recently came out that my dad has been cheating on my mom. I still live with my parents. He has been taking money out of the bank account giving it to the other woman. He had stopped buying groceries for the household. He has been treating me and my mom like we mean nothing to him. Now the woman won't leave him alone and she has made a statement about coming to our home. To top it off, he hasn't learned anything from this situation. Please pray for my and my mom's safety.

Please pray for my Mother, Janie, 80 yrs old: She hasn't been feeling good of late; went to the doctor yesterday and her blood pressure was 200 over 110.....the doctor upped her medication.....that takes a few days to take effect.....her shoulders and her joints are hurting her also.

has been admitted to Johns Hopkins University Hospital. After experiencing a migrain on friday, it worsened. Testing revealed 2 aneurysms deep inside her brain. They will have to be clamped. Brenda's mother suffered an aneurysm in 2000... and her grandmother died of aneurysm, as well. Please pray for healing of Theresa AND the family... as this seems to be a family problem.

My friends nephew is now clinging to barely at the age of 10 because he was driving an atv without a helmut. Recent heart bypass surgery

Randy had by-pass surgery last Tue. morn. He had 2-95% blockages, one on each side of his heart. Years ago he had his legs stripped, so there was nothing there to use, and the arteries were too small in his arms, so they had to find something in his chest. All is going well, so far. He still can't eat solid foods, liquid diet only, not by doc's orders....he just can't get it down. it seems to stick in his throat. Please pray for total healing and complete recovery.

My mom fell and broke her pelvis last week. She is in alot of pain....and my dad can't stand for more than a couple of minutes and he gets tired. Carrie's Mom is scheduled for complete right knee replacement on the 30th but it may be rescheduled due to a sore on her right leg not healing and the surgeon does not want to chance an infection. Thanks you for responding as I know these prayers are answered and a deep healing has started for me a long time now. Please I wish to say a prayer for those not well with problems in the hospital. Karen. She has been very ill…and they have found out that she has an aggressive cancer. She goes into OHSU for surgery on April 22nd (she’s on the wait list to get in sooner if possible). Rebellious Son 15

4 year old having severe seizures and in critical condition...

My beloved angel dog

My dog, Disney, was directly given to me by God in one of my darkest times. She has been God's grace to me and pulled me back to faith. She is now extremely ill, with no diagnosis yet, undergoing many tests, and needs immediate prayer -- I believe in miracles and I believe that with as many of my new spiritual friends on this site praying all day Friday, she can return to full health.

My 15 year old son

Please pray for my son, age 15, who has been chronically ill many times this school year, missing over 20 days of school so far. He has had a variety of infections, and his lymphocytes are extremely low, making him susceptible to any infection. He's lost 25 lbs. since September. I am confident with our new doctor, but need support and prayer that he will recover quicker, and be able to catch up on his academic work in high school, and will also be able to catch up socially.

Burn victim

Bobby G., 20 yrs old. He was badly burned in Oct. 2007. His grandmother says that miracles have been evident in his treatment and progress so far. She is praying that God will continue to be glorified as he continues with grafts, surgeries, therapy and treatment. She is also asking that God will show him the direction in which He would have him to go; that God would reveal His plan and purpose for his future.

Leaking heart valve

Brother-in-law, Bobby H., 69 yrs old. Doctors have detected a leaking valve in lower left section of his heart. Not "bad enough" for surgery so they are monitoring him with stress tests, etc. Please pray that God will close the leak and restore health to his heart as it causes his blood pressure to fluctuate also.

Continued Healing

In need of a job

I have two degrees one in Human Resources Management and the other in Computer Information Systems. The CIS degree i've had since 2002 and the HR management degree since May 2007. I am not having any success with the job hunting. Most of the time employers tell me that i am over qualified even though i have two degrees i don't have any work experience in either one; therefore, i don't understand how i am over qualified. In his apartment was a washer & dryer and a big screen television from A's rental; the apartment manager had those item taken to her storage.She called to police on him for trespassing because he was trying to get those items back so A's rental can pick them up because they weren't paid for. I previously requested prayer for my son's legal charge. Now he has chickenpox and is feeling really bad. He has to court back to court Tues. Please pray that he feels well enough to go, stops itching, is able to rest, and is found not guilty or that the case is totally dismissed that day. Prayer for my son and decisions we need to make,God's will in legal situation. We go to court 10/30. New lawyer is going to try to reverse guilty plea old lawyer pushed us into, but this could make whole thing take longer. Pray it is dismissed that day with no further probation or court appearances. son's legal charge and depression

My son just turned 15 & has been going through a 6 month legal ordeal related to threat charges. All who know the story think it is ridiculous. Most of the case is based on a rumor a student admitted to starting. My son in depressed, discouraged, and not allowed to attend school or associate with anyone from his school. He has become isolated. I request prayer for a quick postive outcome, for good things to happen to him and me, and for both of us to be happy. His father died from cancer.

Im in serious financial debt

I have 13,000 dollars in credit card debt 12,000 dollars in a car loan 8,000 dollars in a student loan from college and other monthly recurring bills. I am severly in debt as I am mostly living check to check. Please pray for me. My father is kicking me and my brother out the house next month and I cannot afford 1,000 extra dollars a month for an apartment right now. I am 26 and feel overhwhelmingly like an underachiever. Request for sister-in-law, Linda W., more cancer surgery

(This note is from my sister-in-law's daughter). Mom is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday (10th) The doctors are going to remove ALL the cancer (I am believing in the name of Jesus!) this time. They said they would have to cut into her breastbone, collar bone and a few ribs and any other places they find cancer growth. It is a pretty big surgery-hospital stay anticipated at 10 days. tumor on thyroid / heart function

Request is for co-workers (Dave) wife, Ellen and his dad, Douglas. A tumor has been found on Ellen's thyroid. She has an appointment with the doctor/surgeon Oct 2nd. Dave's dad, Douglas was just admitted to the hosp. Top chamber of his heart is not functioning properly. He is 72 yrs old and has pulmonary fibrosis.

Healing for 2 yr old/salvation/reconciliation

Matthew is 2 yrs old and has severe problems with his ears. He has already had 4 sets of tubes placed in his ears and looking like there will be a 5th and he may now have to have his tonsils removed. Today he has bronchitis and his ears are full of fluid. His mother is worried that with that many surgeries he might have problems hearing as he grows older due to so much scar tissue. My first cousin, Lanny, 54 yrs old, was admitted to the hosp. last week with stomach pains. Found cancer in and wrapped around his colon. They removed 20 inches of his colon and his lymph nodes. May her body heal

May divine power give strength to my friend, a cancer survivor, who now has other serious medical problems for which she has not yet found relief.. Weakened by this new condition, she finds herself hospitalized, unable to eat (only IV), and hearing she needs surgery next week. Her mental state is fast deteriorating from worry. Her 3 children (over age 15) and husband are her world, as is her job. We are helpless to help, and ask for peace and healing for her and all who care for her.

A mother's grief over 3yr olds death

Adoption

We have been asked to go to committee for 3 siblings for adoption. However, we have 2 beautiful foster children. The last time we went to committee for another child another family was selected because of our foster children. Please pray that God will make His plans clear for our foster children and whether we can have guardianship of them and/or if we are to adopt these 3 children.
