my son manny is doing better. He does have some new friends. He is active in the church choir, playing soccer, lost 15 pounds and has a girl (just friends). He checks in with a pastoral counselor about once a month to let him know how he's doing. He also got his driver's permit. He seems happy which is a blessing to mom and dad. Thanks for your prayers

After 22 months of waiting and praying, God finally parted the sea of red tape and Anna's adoptive parents were able to go to Guatemala to pick her up and bring her home. So far she is adjusting well. Please join the Lord in thanking Him for allowing her to be adopted into a Christian home.

I got let go of my job

Thanks for your prayers! :) I applied at a nearby school where I volunteer for their library. I prayed to God and said to Him what my heart's desire is because in Psalm 37:4 it says the Lord gives us the desires of our heart. Well one of my friends from church said she talked with the librarian at the school and my friend said to call the school. So I waited about a week, & then I called the school and left a message & then the next day the principal called and said I could start volunteering.

He is walking with a cane... and preaching, periodically!! ******* W O W!! last weekend, Pastor John Stumbo talked about his journey for the last 4+ months. His speech is audible. I am very happy to report that the heart fluttering has gone away and that the doctor found out the reason for my obesity problem. Finding a job and learning how to drive

I feel confident because God has a plan for my life. God is good! :) I feel at peace about this because it is God's Perfect Timing and His Will be done. God knows what's best and He is preparing me for that job down the road. Also, I know I can drive because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, all things are possible with God, and nothing, absolutely nothing is too hard for God.

My Job Situation

God is good! :) I received a confirmation from God yesterday at Nami (National Alliance of Mental Illness). I volunteer there as a library worker. My counselor Janice from the Department of Rehab. called and she said she talked with my boss, Deanna at Nami and told me that Nami is having some funding issues. Janice also said that once she and Deanna take care of the funding issues at Nami, Janice said we will work something out. That might mean I probably will have a job at Nami. Hallejuiah! :)

The Lord has taken my mom, Harriet home on March 22, 2008 so she could spend Easter with him. She was 91 years old and in good health. Her heart fluttered, she swooned and she went unconscious and into the arms of waiting angels who took her to heaven. Amen.

For Paul V Whose Kidneys are failing

Paul is doing much better and is now going to be leaving the hospital/nursing home to a private apartment where he will live with a caretakers. Please keep him in your prayers and ask the Lord to please find him an apartment that is suitable to his needs and is close enough to church that he won't have to do too much walking. Father God, thank you for hearing our prayers for Paul and for putting a hedge of protection around him. Give Paul the strenght to tackle this last hurdle of recovery.

Eric was exonerated, but there is a huge political problem with this case. this was not Randy, however we began to pray for this homeless man and no one ever saw him again, perhaps he was an angel to remind us of estranged Randy. We inquired into his whereabouts and in the process we reconnected with Josh's dad's family. So that was an answer to a different prayer, and the Lord works in mysterious ways. God thank You for reconnecting us with Randy's mom, dad, sister , niece and now Josh has a way to talk to these people in the New Year. I pray that he will.

God's answer was no. My son will still not pass, and still no diploma. As my heart breaks, I must believe that there is another plan.

Physical Healing

Thank you for praying for me. I received an email from Jason. Again, thank you. Through the prayers I received: I had to have the new hip anyway. Three crises were averted before surgery, and twice during surgery. One of those was that my femur /long bone fell apart in the surgeon's hands. He had to plate the whole thing together with 10 small metal plates and screws. My leg works great now and I am dependent on a wheel chair and a walker. See next prayer. Ty, ty,ty.

Brain tumor

Praise the Lord! Sam's surgery was a success. Nothing looked cancerous. Apparently, a bone started growing and connected to another bone, which led to bone marrow growing between the two. They were able to remove about 80% of it. The rest is too entwined around the carotic artery, but they don't think it will pose any future problems. We have another hour to wait to see her but we are thankful for God's awesome blessing!

It has been over three months since my mom got very angry at my wife and myself but God has answered our prayers and when my mom came to visit for my brothers baby's baptism everything was resolved. She began talking with my wife as she hasn't spoken wit her since May. They picked up as if they were best friends. God is a great God and in his timing he brought the relationship between my wife and my mom back together.

This little concert turned out to be a good night out for our couples in the church as well as a time of Worship for those who can't make it to our morning Sunday Service. PARTIAL - Eichi (unsaved) recently had surgery to remove esophogus tumor remnants after being radiation & chemotherapy. I went to visit him in the hospital and laid hands on him & prayed for him & thanked God for the good report we received (that all of what was removed by surgery was NOT malignant). When I looked up, his eyes were full of tears & he was overcome with emotion. The good news after surgery & this "touch" of God is obviously an answer & sign of more good things to come!

Bradley's Eye Surgery

God was pleased to hear and answer our prayer. Bradley's eye surgery was a success. Thank God for His gift of healing to those who worked on Bradley. They were truly angels of mercy who know how to work with four year olds. His surgery was completed by 11:30. He was his old self by 2. We praise You Father for your tender care and healing. Bradley will have some follow up visits over the next month to watch for healing and to see how effective the surgery was. Thank you to all for your prayers.

Dear C is gaining strength daily, and weathering this storm. Her new Dr. has provided a plan that appears to be working. The family business seems to be prevailing. The children are (at least temporarily) in line. Thank you, Lord, for your bounty and blessings on this dear woman.

PRAYER FOR TAX SEASON

Yes God has answered. I had another very successfull tax season and God did sustain me through it. He provided exactly the amount of clients that I would need to make it through the rest of this year. God is so good. He is always good because his ways are the best. Healing for father in law

He made it through all the chemo and radiation, and shows clear at this point. The next step now is to pray on a maintenance level so he stays clear and cancer free. The goal here is to make 5 years without another incident

More on my father

My father had his gall bladder out on Monday and everything went well. He did have some stones and fluid. He was sent home after surgery. Later that day he was in the ER for the pain and I think he paniced. He was admitted and spent 2 nights in the hospital. He is home now and doing very well. God took care of him through this and I praise Him for it. I thank the community for praying with me and I thank God for listening.

Long Awaited Promises

My father

My father is having his gall bladder out on 041607. The surgeon belives it is gall stones or fluid build up but won't know for sure until he takes it out. God is with my father and will protect him during this time.

Loss of grandson

My coworker has returned to work and is coping with the loss of her grandson as well as can be expected. She knows God is in control and He is helping her and the rest of the family. The father and the other child are both recovering from the physical injuries well and are coping with God's help as well. Thanks for all the prayers.

Salvation and Restoration

Its gettting closer it's like I can feel it.....I've had a pasinate kiss from my husband on Easter Sunday at a family meet at a Park with our three boys. I've been listening to some music that I found on his playlists on the computer and reminisced into many memories and times we spent as well as the lyrics in the music.....God is Good. I have also had an opportunity to release in Faith to a trusted neighbour for approx 2 hours unexpectedly today ...that listenened...it was Jesus I'm sure

My mom's testing/surgery went well. They did find several small issues but are just going to track them each year...there is NOTHING life threatening and she is recovering well. Other than needing a lot of rest she is happy & healthy. Thank you, Lord, for giving me this amazing woman as my mom and for keeping her safe!

SURGERY FOR QAUMANIQ SUUQIINA

Last night we just got a report on Qaumaniq’s operation. It went great. She is fine with no complications. At first check, the sense was that the tumor was not cancerous. A conclusive report will take 40 hours. Her husband Suuquiina sends his love and deepest gratitude to every one of the many that prayed. It seems that God was listening. Let us press in with faith for a speedy, complete, and uneventful recovery. Praise the Lord. March 27

Trust

I am so grateful for the light that God has shown at the end of our tunnel. We haven't reached it yet by far, but I can can see it. Thank you Father for Your encouragement and faithfulness in Your promises.

Smoking

Father Iknow all things can be used for Your glory. As much as it hurts to know that Dan has lung cancer. It has affected Curtis to want to quit and has taken the enjoyment out of smoking for him. I pray that you would continue to strengthen both men as they struggle through this Father. Bless them and encourage them to continue doing what is good and right. Thank you Lord.

Revival

God was definitely at work in our midst during revival. There were several commitments made and many children accepted Christ as Savior. God sent almost 300 people each night to hear His Word. Revival has begun and I am grateful. Thank you for praying.

Dan

The tumor is cancerous. We are going for more tests on 4/5 to see if it has spread. Please pray for good test results. During this time of waiting and worrying my parents came to visit my church during revival. What a blessing to be able to worship together with them and the message seemed to be tailor made for us. God is good! Thank you for praying.

Relapse

My cousin's husband is doing well in rehab. He has recommitted to stay away from the drinking. They will have allot to do to restrengthen their marriage now. But God has them on the right track.

New Church Location

We have now been in our new location for over a month or so now. It seems to be going really well. The body has adjusted well so far, so that is encouraging. It also seems that we are having a couple new people every week or so. I would just continue to pray for us as a body. I pray that we will continue to look outside of ourselves and to reach out to people in the community.

Pray for my son

On his 16th birthday, this wonderful child will be inducted into the National Honor Society -- his grades are up, he's back with a good group of friends, and he seems to be pulling himself up (although suffering from a loss of a different relationship). God was there and His Spirit was working in the court room. The man was convicted of the murder and we are praying for his salvation. Foolish

Last week I stayed focused on God and myself eliminating time thinking about who I was dating. In a matter of a week I was offered two jobs. I had five jobs to call me. I got a call today(Sunday) offering me training schedule for the job starting on Tuesday. The job is waiting on my drug test results. I DO NOT DO DRUGS. This job is mine. I am so thankful. I signed a new lease for my apartment and the rent is going up. I'm not so much concerned about things. I really have let GO and let GOD.

I got the job I interviewed for on Thursday(March 15, 2007). The manager called me today (Sunday) and asked that I start training on Tuesday. Im so happy that Adam has been reached. He knows what he was doing was wrong and hurting him, and now realizes that even tho he doesnt have much of a family his freinds are still there for him and we love him. He is on some medication and is getting coucelling for his problem and also is now meeting with my youth pastor, which i hope that leads to salvation soon! Grandson born 2/13/07 In Hospital

Grandson had colostomy put in but will have it out in 3mths. He is so peacefull now that he is out of pain. That is a miracle in itself to me as he was in awful pain and now he slept for 12 straight hrs yesterday, had to wake him to eat. Thanks for your prayers. God is faithful. We prayed for this family to be drawn back into fellowship where they would be loved and supported as part of God's family and their faith be restored. The daughter, who feels so lost in her faith shared with me that her and her mother and father visited a new church this Sunday. When they did they were reunited with four families that they used to go to church with years ago. God spoke directly to her heart and is drawing her near to him. She has hope again. HE is wonderful!

Fred with Alzheimer's

Fred is in a facility for alzheimer patients; he has had a mild stroke. He is not eating. We have prayed angels into his room so that he will find special favor with the staff and will be looked after in a special way. Thank you for agreeing with us in prayer. We are praying to bind his mind to the mind of Christ and loosing the evil spirits that seem to be surrounding him.

Remarriage

Thanks to many prayers, my friends, and God's words, my prayer was answered. The Lord has placed peace in my heart to wait until either my husband dies (sounds kind of bad, but it's in the scripture) or to remain single as I devote myself more to the Lord. Thank you Father!

Pray for dear friends

Where the Dr.'s gave absolutely no hope, God worked a miracle. This kind man is alert, eating, breathnig without a respirator, able to talk through the trach and being moved out of ICU. They are hoping for rehab and that he may attend an important family event in 3 weeks! Praise God for answering these prayers!!! God is AWESOME!

Tom - colon cancer just diagnosed

By the way, Tom is no relation of mine except as a brother in Christ. He had the surgery as scheduled and is recovering at home twice as fast as normal. Got all the cancer and they have to decide if he will have chemo "just in case". He is doing great and they are grateful for the prayers.

A New Vehicle

We are postponing our involvement with Foster care, though, we still are going to need a new vehicle soon. The LORD knows, and we are not worried.

Family Finances in disarray

Praise be to God! Yesterday my husband spoke to the finance company and they are going to rework our payment plan to help us not lose our house. This was a miraculous gift from God! Please continue to pray for us that my husband's new job will begin to pick up so that he will be able to help more with the finances. Both parents tests have come out well, in large part I know, to Your mercy and grace. Mom is having no issues at all. Dad may have to endure surgery but is better daily. Youth Conference

Thank You Lord for bringing us all home safely. The snow turned our 2 hour drive into a 5.5 hour drive. The kids were great and God's Spirit present and working. There were hundreds of decisions made some first time and some for further commitment to dare to share. The outreach ministry we helped with on Saturday was blessed with much food for the local food pantry also. God did the mighty work we asked Him for and more than we could ask or imagine. Healing of head and chest congestion

Healed instantly, probably before this prayerr request cleared. I slept just fine and my body is rested this morning. I am off to church to GIVE God the glory. God answered and when the congestion tried to come back early this morning , I reminded my body that it was already healed and rebuked the congestion and went back to sleep. Dad's peace

The biopsy came back positive...prostate cancer BBBBBBBBBUUUUUTTTTT...he went for further testing to see if the cancer spread and it it didn't!!! PRAISE GOD!!! he has opted for surgery to remove the cancer and will go friom there so I thank God for wisdom in what to do next.

you know ever since madie was born the dr. could not figure out what was wrong with her.we have been praying without ceasing and God is coming through one day at a time.she is now abke to keep her own temp and so now gets her own bed.the siezures have come to a halt and the dr. believes it's a dietary disorder.very uncommon.God is defenately working.thanks for your prayers.

Test

Thank you for your prayers. My brother did not complete his test. He completed only 87%, so he is not sure he passed and won't get result suntil 3/07. He has 1 more test coing up 2/28/07, and then he will hust for a new job no matter what.

Friends getting a divorce

Kathy and Don are back together&Don ended the adulterous relationship! Before this Kathy attempted to take her own life-God intervened by sending police to her hotel room on Marco Island! She accepted Christ on the phone with me that night. Don still needs salvation. And they need prayer for restoration. God's arm is not too short to save! I wish I could go into detail...it's quite a story. PRAISE GOD!

Praise God, Leslie finally came home! She missed alot of school and got expelled. She has along way to go to get her grades up to graduate (it will actually take a miracle). Leslie needs lots of prayer for alcohol abuse. She's depressed and very dark riaght now. Please pray for SALVATION and direction

My Son Christopher

I praise the Lord my Son has come home and is now in a drug program. We are taking it one day at a time. I believe the Lord is completely delivering him from these additions. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Our Children

I have had several people who are willing to help Doug get a job, the parole officer is allowing Doug to work in Salem. I am so blessed to have such wonderful christian people in my life. Dennis B. has been such a blessing to me this last week, helping to find jobs for Doug and helping me to learn how to show unconditional love to my son, just like christ shows to me.

Pray for John

John passed away Thursday February 8th. He died swiftly and peacefully in his coma like sleep. Lyn does not know whether or not he became saved. I will now ask for continured prayers for the family...Lyn and Tina who are John's daughters, and for Delores who is Lyn's mom....God give them joy in their grief as they mourn the loss of John...God Bless...

Mother in Hospital

On Wednesday February 7th, 'Kitty' Snell, my 90 year 'young' Mother looked UP & entered Heaven. There is an incredible story of a 110 ft. roadside cross, raised by a church in Cookeville TN, that goes with this ANSWERED PRAYER message. Too many characters to write here. In brief, as we were racing to NC from KC, we came upon the cross at 1:33 PM (CST), and snapped a cell phone pic, at perhaps the very moment that my Mom was going to Heaven at 2:30 PM (EST). No coincidences with God.

For Forgiveness and Healing

I have found someone special who is giving me the encouragement I need to pray and to "feel" the recovery process. Praise God for Cinderella.

Need strength and Guidance

For the first time in a long time, I'm beginning to see God's work in the midle of my storm. I felt peace within that only God can provide. I thank God for that feeling and I hope it continues to grow. I will continue to get closer to him. Even though my worries still seem to be there, I feel faith and hope and I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. God bless all of you!!!

Decision time

It was not the answer I was hoping for, but I must accept her decision. My prayers have been that God's will prevails. In all of my human-ness, I am having a hard time seeing His will through all of my hurting. Deep down I know that it is there.

I need Employment

I need wisdom and divine direction, as I have been unemployed for nearly a year. I,m happy to interceed for the Lord with fasting and praying but I feel the Lord wants me back into the job market. I like a stay at home career in journalism but I don't know how to go about it. Please pray for me that God would really cause me to hear from Him. Heal me, Lord

All glory and praise to our King and Healer.I want to thank you for all your prayers.I appreciate you.May God shower you with His blessings.I had to go for infiltrations in my neck yesterday.I was so afraid because 29of the previous 42 was unsuccessfull.In the end I found peace in God and I went.I told the doctor how I felt and he was very encourageing.He showed all the arthritis in the 2 levels in my neck and he injected me.I can scream from the hill tops "I have no Pain".Glory to Him!!!!!

Cancer Surgery Tonight

My 94 year old grandmother came through with flying colors. Although they are not going to do chemo and the cancer may come back she is healthy now. She is amazing, walking around, very active. Thank God He brought her through the surgery.

Sad Update - Missing 13 Year Old Girl Found - LA

Although this prayer was not answered the way we wanted, God granted our request to bring Kaitlin home. He brought her home to Him, her Father. Father God, we do not often understand Your ways, but we should always trust that You are in control and "we know that all things work together for good to those who love God..." (Romans 8:28) We also know that You will never leave us or forsake us. We ask you to comfort Kaitlin's mother, Danette, as she grieves for her loss. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Injured SeaGull

Yes. I found "Buddy" SeaGull after I got home from work. He was huddled behind a scrub, seeking shelter. I was able to pick him up, bring him home, then take him to an animal emergency hospital. They said there was no charge for wildlife animals, and they would keep me posted on his health and rehabilitation. Thank You Lord, for taking care of this precious creature. Feb 11, '07 I called the Emergency Animal Hospital to check on Buddy. They said they felt it was better to euthinize him

Wisdom needed

God did answer this pray in a way I did not expect. As I prayed for wisdom and a clear opportunity to talk with John. God gave me the wisdom, but never the opportunity. As my wife and I were driving home and I was feeling like I missed my opportunity. My wife told me she had the opportunity to talk with John's girlfriend. The conversation left no question as to the Lords position, but it built a bridge as opposed to a wall. The Lord also gave us another opportunity to get together.

2007 business plan

God so helped me today in my presentation of our business plan to the owners of our company. I new exactly what to say and when to say it. I had peace and calm the entire time.
